I go by a few names.
Not for mystery’s sake, but because each one holds a different version of me.
JC the Kid is the part of me that remembers—
late-night drives, quiet moments, conversations I never finished.
That name lives where nostalgia and curiosity collide.
It’s the voice behind the lens. The one still figuring it out.
Uncommonsight is how I see the world—
the angles others skip, the light no one’s looking for.
It’s the name I use when I’m working, but it’s never just work.
It’s personal. It’s instinct. It’s how I document what’s real without trying to force it.
FifthExit is the detour—
the wrong turn that feels more right than the map ever did.
That name is for when I’m not trying to make sense.
It’s a soft rebellion. A quiet way out.
And then there’s SILO.
The storage space for everything I never said.
The still frames I took for no one.
The edits that felt too heavy to post.
It stands for Still Imagery, Lost Observations—
a place where I leave the things I notice but don’t know how to explain.
This isn’t just branding.
It’s not a portfolio or a feed or a moodboard.
It’s memory.
It’s everything I couldn’t put into words…
so I took a photo instead.
Every frame I share is something I saw when no one else was looking.
That’s what I do here.
And whatever name I’m using—
It’s still me.
